All Graphics prepared must meet the requirement of sublimation process.
Sublimation printing method is a high resolution digital transfers and nothing like commonly used in older techniques as in water slide transfer or decal application and other long established techniques. Ceramic sublimation print is a 'no hand' process and defects cannot be corrected. This is explained a little further on.
Print Size - Our Decorative Tile illustrated above measured 6" X 8 " with 0.25” width unprintable edge. Your personalized graphic or photos can be printed limited to only 5.5" X 7.5" . If you have larger image > reduced and/or cut whole things proportionately into the sizes as described above.
In certain graphics, bordering-up with any Border Images OR Lines are not required as it may be incorporated with Wood Frame which sold separately and free shipping with your decorative tiles. Even if your orders exclude frames, your Tiles come with plate stand and still fine enough to be displayed creatively in its own way as a stand-alone piece of work.
Graphic Image - The better you can get the picture on screen the better your print will be. If you are not satisfied with how your picture looks, skip to adjust your image using color correction profiles. With good quality image of your graphic, your Decorative Tiles will be delivered with 'photo-lab quality' print on it's surface.
In preparing your artwork for ceramic prints Image must be at least 200 dpi (recomended 200 - 300 dpi) and pasted at 100% of the template size. It is advisable to save your graphic in Tag Image Format File (TIFF) or TIF File. TIF Files are lossless format, isn't compressed and tends to be larger. JPEG Files are 'Loosy' files and some pixel information loss. GIF file is limited to 256 colors.
Graphic Edge - Almost all our collections and sample including mug and plates are printed with Soft-Edge Creative Effect. We keep to this practice of long established ceramic decoration. However to get the Soft-Edge Effect do not apply it with free-hand touch-up for it may not be perfect enough to fit in the print area. There are few ways to tell your computer to get the soft-edge effects all at once.
Important Notice - All instructions written here are based on our own in-house production method, standard practice procedure and facilities and we are not responsible for any defect or incompatibility if our specs and procedure being adapted and failed in application elsewhere.
Last but Not Least - All monitors display colors uniquely, therefore exact color matching will be difficult. It is common everywhere to get final colour output of the ceramic prints sometimes slightly differ to RGB visual as what you see on your monitor screen. However at all the time we always tried to get the best possible colour profile on the final output.
