CAP FRONT TEMPLATE SUBLIMATION

 

 

To prepare a proper graphic to print on cap front however still requires a little or basic knowledge of apparel design and print craft or else it will led to defect on the products. All Graphics prepared must meet the requirement of dye sublimation process.

Dye sublimation printing method is a high resolution digital transfers and nothing like commonly used in older techniques as used in screen printing and other long established dyeing techniques. It is a 'no hand' process and defects cannot be corrected. This is explained a little further on.

Product Measurement - Whole surface of the cap front are printable area but what we are concern are print sizes options available for your graphics. For 100% heavy brushed cotton cap (as in our product range), the print areas will be coated and cured with invisible polyester layer so that the surface will be made printable, produce vividly briliant colour and long lasting. However poly caps need no coating treatment.

Print Sizes - There are saveral selections of cap front print sizes to suit your graphics. A) 3.50" Width X 2.50" Height B) 3.50" Width X 2.00" Height C) 3.00" Width X 2.00" Height D) 2.50" Width X 2.50" Height E) 2.50" Width X 2.00" Height F) 2.50" Width X 1.00" Height OR Other sizes as shown in the template as illustrated in the above diagram. If you have organic or irregular shape graphic, make sure whole things fit in it and If you have larger image > reduced and/or cut whole things proportionately into the sizes as described above.

Graphic Image - The better you can get the picture on screen the better your print will be. If you are not satisfied with how your picture looks, skip to adjust your image using color correction profiles. With good quality image of your graphic, your cap front will be delivered with 'photo-lab quality' print on it's surface. In preparing artwork for Cap Prints graphic use 150 dpi and pasted at 100% of the template size. It is advisable to save your graphic in Tag Image Format File (TIFF) or TIF File. TIF Files are lossless format, isn't compressed and tends to be larger. JPEG Files are 'Loosy' files and some pixel information loss. GIF file is limited to 256 colors.

Last but Not Least - All monitors display colors uniquely, therefore exact color matching will be difficult. It is common everywhere to get final colour output of the sublimation prints result sometimes slightly differ to RGB visual as what you see on your monitor screen. However at all the time we always tried to get the best possible colour profile on the final output.
