BANQUET SERVICE

Banquet service is serving of food in proper and perfect manner using banquet menu. Dishes are served in number of courses.

Normally banquet carried out as an official event for guest and visitors. Sometimes banquet are named accordingly for example State Banquet (Majlis Makan Malam Negeri), Royal Banquet (Majlis Santapan DiRaja), Regimental Dinner Night (as in armed force) and et cetera. Services are similar.

  • In every course food and beverages are served according to banquet service manner.
  • In banquet services, dishes served in every course shall not be taken out until the last guest finished.
  • Banquet cover are prepared.
  • Famous type of service used for main course is Russian Service.
  • In the middle of dining table decorated with table flower and fruit bouquet and silverware such as candelabra and et-cetera.
  • In local context there are some modification of service being made according to theme such as Indian Banquet (Bollywood Dinner), Ethnic Wedding (Majlis Perkahwinan, where bridal table are almost similar to royal table) respectively.
  • Banquet service take long hours to serve while trained waiters and waitress are busy serving with full discipline, quietly and speechless.
