SALAD AND SALAD DRESSING

Salad made of mixture of vegetable, fruits and sometime added with meat, seafood and et cetera prepared beautifully and look attractive in 12" Chop Plate or Oval Plate.

Salad dressing is mixture of oil, vinegar, seasoning and also mayonnaise mixed with salad to make it more tasteful and nice to look at. Salad is prepared in different shape and colour of selected vegetable and fruits suitable to main course and serve chilled.

USE OF SALAD

  • As appetizer - Beautifully decorated in 12" Chop Plate or Oval Plate and not too much in quantity. For example prawn cocktail shown in the picture above and serve as first course.
  • Salad as Main Course - Serve in 10" Dinner Plate for 1 person. Sometimes prepared for guest who on diet and weight conscious. Good example is Russian Salad.
  • As accompaniment to main course - Serve in 8" Salad Plate with meat. An example is Barbequed Lamb serve with tomato salad as accompaniment.
  • Salad as Dessert - Fruit cocktail is salad as dessert serve in Sundae Glass after main course.

SALAD DRESSINGS

  • French Dressings – Made of salad oil, white vinegar and seasonings.
  • Mayonnaise Dressing – Made of egg yolk, oil, white vinegar and seasoning. Mayonnaise Dressing required longer time to prepared but the ready-made mayonnaise dressing in bottle available in grocery.
